My little trip to the south (of Denmark)

This is what you do when your own horse is on summer vacation πŸ˜‚

This fine steed is a knight’s horse. His name is Rambuk and he works at a museum of the middle age.
He looks quite stunning, doesn’t he? πŸ˜πŸ¦„
– Yes I know, no helmet-shame on me since he was really feisty but I knew I could handle it πŸ˜πŸ™Œ
So these the past two days I’ve been to a safari park for the second time in my life and the first time I’m actually old enough to remember.

I was there with my grandma, my parents and my cousin and we saw so many animals!
Some of them were a little scary and we made a deal that if any of the dangerous animals charged towards our car my dad would step on it and get us out there as fast as we could πŸ˜‚
Luckily we only came close to doing that once 😩

It took us a couple of hours to get there so we drove around 9 and arrived at 11.
We started the trip off with the donkeys.
We saw one right after we entered the park and it decided to walk right in the middle of the road. So we decided to get out of the car and take some pictures 😍
They were just adorable!

Afterwards we had some food since we arrived around lunch time and were hungry πŸ€—πŸ˜‹
We had made some sandwich from home and they were the best!
After lunch we took of for something they call the Wolf Forest. They were very cute but they didn’t do much other than sleep πŸ˜…
Some of them were active but it was mostly the pupsπŸ™ƒ

After that we drove through a closed off place with, I think it were bisons but I’m not entirely sure 😊
We saw moose too but they weren’t much fun.

We too drove through the tiger habitat and I saw a striped safari jeep! Whoop whoop! πŸ™ŒπŸ€—πŸ‘
No, but really we saw a very big and beautiful tiger. Just one though. The rest of them were sleeping in the high grass πŸ˜΄πŸ’€

For the monkeys we couldn’t drive in to that habitat with our own car because they’ll rip off the antenna and the window wipes so we got on something like a low bus with glass for sides instead of what’s normally on a bus. It was towed with a truck in front of it. I’m not really a big fan of monkeys but it was funny to see them up close.

You guys all know the Madagascar movies right? Well, there is this little fellow, King Jullian, he is a lemur and we saw, maybe his family. I know why they call him ring tail and I gotta say, that tail is just gorgeous! 😍
They were all up in your face and really cute! The sign said not to touch them but when they jump down right in front of you and on you there’s just not much to do.The lemurs are very photogenic and I’ve gotten many great pictures of them.

With them were something similar to a small dear. I don’t remember the name but they don’t get any bigger.

Afterwards we drove by the savanna habitat with ostriches, giraffes, Buffaloes and zebras.
They are all either very funny or beautiful animals.

Of cause there were gazelles and rhinos too. They were big and scary!

There were some other kind of buffalo that we were afraid would attack us and the car because it suddenly started moving very fast towards us. Luckily for us and unluckily for the buffalo it’s baby was dead and was on the other side of our car. That was what it was going for. Not us. So sad but kind of a relief.
There were emus and small kangaroos, camels with stupid looks on their faces (totally spaced out looks πŸ˜‚), and ponys!
Beautiful, adorable, sweet Shetlandponys!! πŸ˜πŸ‘
I think I fell in love with one! πŸ™ƒπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ¦„β€οΈ

After that we left the park and went for some dinner.
I got a big plate of pasta and cream/tomato sauce with meat and for dessert two warm pancakes with three kinds of ice cream! πŸ˜‹

Today we visited a museum or some kind of center for the middle age.
If was super it interesting! We tried to shoot with bow and arrows but I guess I’m nowhere near the level of Stephen Amell πŸ˜‚πŸ˜…

We saw how they lived during that time and what kind of music and instruments they had. We also tried to eat how they ate. With fingers we ate all kinds of meat and in ceramic cups we drank wine and meed, what an experience!
We saw catapults go off into the water, canons fired in the same direction and of cause tournaments for Knights, knights riding towards each other with lances and a noble heart! It was amazing!
We, basically, saw all the good stuff πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘πŸ˜πŸ˜β€οΈ
